Terjangan masalah yang beberapa kali menyerang Justin Bieber ternyata dianggap sebagai sebuah keuntungan bagi One Direction. Boyband jebolan X Factor ini mengaku ingin memanfaatkan momen tersebut untuk mendapatkan jumlah fans lebih banyak.

Persamaan usia dan jenis musik yang diusung membuat One Direction berpikir untuk merebut perhatian fans Bieber. Pesona kelima personel mereka pun diharapkan mampu mengalahkan citra Bieber yang mulai memburuk.

"Banyak gadis-gadis yang mencintai Bieber kini mulai berpaling ke Harry Styles," ujar orang dekat One Direction pada Situs Radar Online. "Mereka tahu ini adalah waktu yang tepat untuk merebutnya," tambah sumber tersebut.

Bieber memang beberapa kali menjadi bahan cercaan fans maupun media. Selain beberapa kali terlambat datang ke konsernya, ia juga dikritik akibat terlibat insiden perang mulut dengan wartawan.

"Semua gadis muda yang mencintai Bieber mulai berpaling karena kelakuan buruknya dan mereka mulai mencintai One Direction," tutur sumber tadi.

"Orang tua fans juga benci dengan perilaku Bieber dan mereka pikir ini berpengaruh buruk bagi anak mereka," sambungnya.

Sepak terjang fenomenal One Direction terus berlanjut. Rekor demi rekor mereka pecahkan. Kali ini giliran rekor Justin Bieber mereka lewati.

Rekor baru diciptakan oleh video klip Live While We're Young di VEVO. Boyband asal Inggris ini memperoleh 8,24 juta klik hanya di 24 jam pertama perilisan. Ini mengalahkan rekor yang sebelumnya dipegang Justin Bieber.

Sebelumnya Bieber pernah mengoleksi 8 juta viewers untuk video klipBoyfriend di awal tahun ini. Sayangnya belum ada komentar resmi baik dari One Direction maupun Justin Bieber tentang pemecahan rekor ini.

Single Live While We're Young sendiri baru bisa diunduh secara resmi pada 30 September mendatang di Inggris, menyusul sehari kemudian di Amerika Serikat. Sementara itu album mereka, TAKE ME HOME baru akan dirilis pertengahan bulan November mendatang.

Tak ada yang meragukan kesuksesan Justin Bieber tiga tahun belakangan ini.Karirnya begitu melesat sehingga ia dijuluki popstar muda yang berbakat. Namun sebaliknya Bieber justru masih mengaku dirinya adalah 'bocah kemarin sore'.

Remaja berusia 18 tahun ini memang masih kerap menerima kritikan dari berbagai pihak yang menganggapnya sebagai penyanyi gagal. Namun Bieber bersikeras untuk terus berkarir dan menggaet penggemar lebih besar, baik anak-anak maupun remaja dan dewasa.

"Itu masukan bagiku dan fansku untuk berusaha lebih keras," ujar Bieber tentang kritikan-kritikan tersebut ketika diwawancarai Ryan Seacrest di U.S TV.

Menghadapi derasnya kritikan itu, Bieber terkadang merasa dirinya sebagai 'bocah kemarin sore'. Ia tampak heran dengan orang-orang yang masih belum percaya dengan usaha kerasnya.

"Kadang-kadang aku merasa seperti bocah kemarin sore. Karena ada pihak yang tidak mempercayainya. Aku bisa melakukan transisi dari penyanyi remaja ke dewasa. Ya begitulah," tambah Bieber.

One Direction: Tak Ada Justin Bieber di Album Baru Kami

 

One Direction dikenal memiliki hubungan yang dekat dengan popstar asal Amerika Serikat, Justin Bieber. Bahkan kedua pihak dikabarkan bakal bekerja sama untuk berkolaborasi. Namun kolaborasi itu dipastikan tidak bakal ada di album terbaru One Direction.

Lima pemuda asal Inggris ini memang sedang bersiap-siap untuk merilis album baru mereka yang berjudul TAKE ME HOME. Seperti yang diberitakan di Harian The Sun, One Direction memastikan bahwa tidak akan ada nama Justin Bieber di album baru mereka.

"Tidak ada nama Justin Bieber di album (baru) kami," ujar Harry Styles, salah satu pentolan One Direction seperti yang diberitakan di Harian The Sun.

Meski dipastikan kolaborasi itu tidak ada di album TAKE ME HOME, namun manajemen Justin Bieber pernah mengatakan hal itu besar kemungkinannya bakal terjadi.

"Justin adalah penggemar One Direction sejak mereka di program X FACTOR. Jadi kemungkinan kolaborasi mereka, kukatakan sangat besar." kata Scooter Braun, manajer Justin Bieber beberapa waktu lalu.
